We've built our entire practice around making you and your pet comfortable during your visit --and we mean that literally. We have separate dog and cat waiting rooms so everyone has enough space. Our receptionists are always happy to give your dog a hypoallergenic cookie. We think you deserve a cookie too so we have a tray of people cookies waiting for you, baked fresh in our hospital every morning.
If you're bringing your kids along for the exam, we have a fun bag of activities for them. These include coloring pages, stickers, a fun toy and a piece of candy.
Once you're in the exam room, our caring veterinary assistants and technicians will weigh your pet and discuss with you what we're seeing you for today. We will ensure your pet is current on any vaccines, parasite-prevention, tests and exams. Then the doctor will join you and conduct a "nose to tail exam." In addition to treating any conditions, or performing wellness care we will evaluate the health of your pet's nose, tail and everything in between.
If labwoork is recommended, we have an in-house laboratory suite, meaning you get results that visit -usually in about 20 minutes. We also have a digital x-ray machine so no need for a secondary exam or waiting until the next day to see x-rays. We are committed to finding a treatment plan that works for you and will provide estimates and guidance through every step.
Surgical procedures are done in the morning of each weekday. Before your pet's procedure, you will meet with your veterinarian and discuss your expectations and questions. An exam is always conducted on the same day before the surgery and pre anesthetic bloodwork is optional for patients under the age of 7 and mandatory for patients 7 years old and older.
More than anything we want to ensure you and your pet feel cared for and listened to. If there is anything we can do to help you or your pet, please let us know.
